Starter for Dante

Sitting at a bar, Poison sips from a martini as she eyes the television nearby. She sighs, crossing one leg over the other as she turns the seat back towards her drink.

"I mean-"

Dante's blade connects, leaving the wraith to issue out a howl and thrash, his arm reaching for the whip around his waist.
Dante aiming another hit and connecting with its side to draw its attention back to the devil hunter.

With the demon distracted by Dante, Poison takes the moment to retract her whip. She swings her arm downward with the weapon, summoning a pink projectile that flies towards the man's back.

Several noisy clashes of the demon's clawed hand on his blade before the pink projectile explodes on their back, allowing Dante advantage to drive his blade into the gut of the entity. They crumple against the blade before Dante pushed them off with his boot.

Poison watches Dante with interest, not even looking at the demon as the devil hunter finishes with it.

"Guess you're used to these kinda things, huh? Thanks."

[devilishhunter]

"Something like that" Dante shaking his head and looking to her. "You definitely missed out on some biiiig trouble here"

"Big trouble pretty much defines my life. I would've been fine." She crosses her arms. "Although... I guess I would've missed out on meeting you, huh? What's your name, handsome?"

[devilishhunter]

"Dante. Yours? Although you seem familiar...have I seen your wanted posters before?"

Joking.

Maybe.

"Maybe back in the day. But don't worry. I'm a good girl, now."

She winks.

"Poison."

[devilishhunter]

He'd chuckle and place a hand on his hip.

"Poison. I like that" keeping his relaxed expression. "So...wanna get out of here?"

"Please. I think I've had enough of this place if there's demons crawling around."

Sizing Dante up as she steps around him for a moment.

"Hm... Not bad. You ever wrestle, big boy?"

[devilishhunter]

A snicker at the sentiment.

"Ah...𝘞𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘦? Not exactly. I've shared in some physical combat before. Been in a wild--'Save the universe' type thing"

As Poison listens, she shamelessly sizes up Dante's biceps. She can't waste time when she finds a potential star, after all!

"Save the universe, huh? Sounds big time compared to all the drama I've been through."

[devilishhunter]

Dante was unbothered. Flattered even.

"Wasn't much. Literally. Didn't get the big payoff I wanted, but uh. I have piss poor luck when it comes to that. Heh"

"Oh yeah?"

Poison finishes looking Dante over, giving the man's arm a healthy squeeze.

"That won't be a problem if I can make a star out of ya. But we can talk about that later. Let's get outta here."

[devilishhunter]

"Sure babe, whatever you want. You got a ride, or-?" He'd gesture to his motorcycle once they were out front.

"I do now. Nice bike."

Poison clings to Dante's arm as they walk, only letting go once they reached the motorcycle.

[devilishhunter]

He chuckles and eases on. "I know a place. Granted it's another bar" He warns her before firing up the engine.

Hopping onto the back, Poison wraps her arms around Dante's torso. She leans against his back as she speaks up over the engine.

"Long as we don't end up fighting another demon, it's fine with me!"

[devilishhunter]

"Nahh, we should be fine. I paid my tab off" He was only half joking as they sped off away from the prior bar.

She holds on tightly as they speed off, looking over Dante's shoulder at the road ahead.

"Don't worry, big boy! I'll cover it, if I gotta!"

[devilishhunter]

"It shouldn't come to that! I hope-" He added. They leave the main hub of the city, the wide lanes narrowing to one going each way.

"So, what's your deal? How'd you know that bozo was a demon?"

She'd ask as the area around them changes, looking around to take in the sights.

[devilishhunter]

A chuckle.
"Well, I'm a demon hunter. Who happens to be a demon"

[toxiclovestorm]

"... Huh. That explains why you were able to take that guy down without even tryin'."

Poison's actually... Intrigued by this information. A demon wrestler sounds exciting!

[devilishhunter]

"Not every day I don't have someone freaking out about that" speaking up honestly.

One last turn and they're parked! Music rumbling from the back as it seemed a live band way playing there. He'd cut the bike off and hop off with a flit of his coat.
